Tweaking the system with tuners and Lloyd’s timing wheels sounds like a way better way to go. Then again, there a limitations of rotating mass of the engine etc etc. And then providing a better EFI map to take advantage of the higher incoming air flow. I think the key is to let the engine breath a little easier, by modifying the air box. Any increase in density would be marginal, if even noticeable. You are drawing in a large volume of air, and trying to cool it down in an instant with cool water, or whatever. When you think about it too, any cold air system is kind of a joke. Even colder air probably wouldn't be that much of an improvement. As we've all mentioned before, the EFI system on these bikes is nowhere near as sensitive as those on cars.
